IMAGES: I THINK WE'RE ALONE NOW (movie 2018)

At least half the population has literally dropped dead from some type of pandemic.

The people that have survived seem to be few and far between.

Del (Peter Dinklage) seems to be one of those few. He spends his time going from home to home gathering up the bodies and burying them. He also preserves their documents and photos.

One night he's awakened by the sounds of fireworks. In the morning, he finds a young woman unconscious in a car. He brings her home and patches her up. Her name is Grace (Elle Fanning), and she starts helping Del with burials and everything else.

After a bit of time they get unexpected guests, and Grace is forced to go somewhere she doesn't want to go.

A short time later, Del tracks her down and is shocked by what he finds.

I didn't think I was going to like this film, but soon after it ended, I watched it again. It has become one of my favorites. That's actually saying a lot, since I'm not fond of most recent movies.
